Sooner or later, we all seek a sense of belonging, a reason for being, and a home for our soul- whether that home is a star, a paradise of angels, or a temple of a Goddess. Our destinations may differ, but the path we all will use to get there is the same for all of us! Sounds contradictory, right? Our eighth, chakra, the soul star chakra, is the pathway that aligns and manifests our soul mission, connects us to our star guides, and helps us unite with the infinite.
The soul star chakra is located above our head between the distance of 6 inches and 2 feet. The exact location differs for everyone.
It is associated with white, silver, gold, bronze, and even magenta color. Some healers even suggest that our soul star is made up of ultraviolet or pure iridescent light.
When you connect with your soul star, the color you see will depend upon what your soul needs to know. This chakra is also called the "seat of the soul" by many.
It is even attributed to our subconscious mind, higher self and Christ consciousness. Activating the soul star has helped many people access their Karma and akashic records.
The soul star connects us to the feeling of "oneness" within all things. It can help starseeds to connect with their star origin and access parallel realities. Since we live in third dimensions, we all have different perceptions.
What you retrieve from your soul star may be completely different from what others do or what's out there. Your perception of the infinite may be totally different from someone else's. Be open to receive whatever you do.
Don't worry! Trust that in time you will find people whom you resonate with.
An underactive soul star may lead to feeling directionless in life or a lack of purpose. This may manifest as mental confusion or instability.
On the other hand, an overactive one may lead to ungroundedness and disregard for the physical world. It can even lead to losing touch with reality.
How to activate the soul star chakra?
There are many ways and tools to connect with your soul star chakra. Your intention and meditation are what you need to focus on primarily.
Meditation: You can read several visualizations available online and find which one you like. I usually open the diamond light vortex for protection, imagine my soul star overflowing with divine love and a stream of white light pouring into my crown chakra.
This stream activates all my chakras and finally goes to the heart of mother earth for grounding so I receive the guidance and information at a pace I'm ready for. Some people visualize a lotus flower with an infinity symbol on it as their soul star.
Come up with your own visualization after reading a few online to connect with your soul star chakra in a way that's conducive to you.
Reiki: Seek the service of a Reiki healer to help you or If you're attuned to Reiki, you can use Cho Ku Rei, Dai Ko Myo or Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen symbols. Meditate with them or draw them above your head to connect with your soul star.

Should you open your soul star chakra/what happens when you do it?
It is known that connecting with your soul star can lead to karmic residues hindering your life for a while. Psychic development can lead you feeling detached or even delusions unless you ground yourself regularly. You may even have out-of-body experiences.
But, even if things get rough for a while, the ultimate outcome will be for your highest best.
